Laboratory for Informatics and Bioinformatics
The Division of Neuroinformatics started with the implementation of quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG) and multimodal biofeedback methodology in Macedonia as the only Center in this part of SouthEastern Europe. Implementation and interpretation of QEEG and neurofeedback in many psychophysiological disorders was the main professional goal in the following working years.
The Division has almost two decades of experience in QEEG, neurofeedback and biofeedback techniques.
Over the years, it has been involved in the fundamental approach to neuroscience and has been used as a starting point for many researchers in the Republic of Macedonia, currently using different experimental designs with success.
The Division uses equipment enabling the estimations of quantitative EEG (QEEG), brain mapping and the neurofeedback and biofeedback modalities such as:
QEEG (MITSAR Co, Ltd, Russia), Ultramind Professional, UK (EDR biofeedback); BioGraph Infiniti, Thought Technology Ltd., Canada (EEG, EKG, EDR, EMG, temperature and respiratory biofeedback); Freeze-Frame Hearth Math, USA (EKG biofeedback); and Peak Achievement Trainer, USA (EEG biofeedback).
